A weekend of Vizsla history being made in NZ!
First NZ Vizsla Best in All Breed Champ Show Ch Ruby Roze of Szep-Allat Bred, Owned and Handled by Jan Edwards Dam: NZ Ch Hubertus Claim to Fame Imp Aust Sire: NZ Ch Hubertus High Flyer QC Imp Aust
The Tokoroa Kennel Club was hosting it's Ruby annerversary shows so this made it doubly special when Ch Ruby Roze of Szep-Allat handled by owner and breeder Jan Edwards became the first ever Vizsla to win BEST IN SHOW in an all breed championship show in New Zealand! And then to really show the quality of this beautiful bitch she took BEST IN SHOW at the all breed champ show the next day as well - a feat not often accomplished by more well known breeds of dogs. And to make a clean sweep of the weekend she also won Best in show at the Waikato Gundog show! What a weekend! The champagne flowed on Saturday night and the smiles are still continuing! Jan Edwards has been breeding and showing Vizslas for over 20 years. She has achieved many 'first ever' goals for our beautiful breed including first Vizsla Triple Champion in New Zealand, first Vizsla to win Gundog Group, first Vizsla to win NZ Gundog specialty champ show, and now first Vizsla to win NZ all breed show. I'm sure that we all send our good wishes out and will delight with her on her continuing success.
